Day by day Program

Day 1: Arrival

 

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) meet and greet with our representative, then followed by transfer to Arusha. You may have an option to view Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa according to the weather and arrival time. You may also have the option to do some activities in Arusha, such as a coffee tour, city tour, museum tour, local market tour, or Maasai market tour.

Day 2 : Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park for a day game drive in the park 

Tarangire is one of the best parks in Tanzania, which offers some extraordinary sights. Normally, in the dry seasons, the Tarangire River becomes a reliable water solution for many animals which is a permanent source of water.
Tarangire is known and famous for its large elephant concentration, baobab trees, and beautiful landscapes, you expect to see the heads of, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, baboons, and antelopes. For bird watchers, Tarangire is where over 400 bird species have been recorded in the park, including rare species animals like Greater Kudu, wild dogs, and fringed-eared Oryx, among rare animal species found in this amazing park.

Day 3: Tarangire To Lake Manyara National Park

Today we Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drive inside the park.  This is one of Tanzania’s small national parks but it still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. Here you expect to see the lake shore flooded with more than 350 species of birds like Flamingos, ducks, and other water birds.

At Lake Manyara, there is also a forest with underground water where you might spot large mammals like elephants, Antelopes, and more than 100 species of birds.There is also Savanna woodland where you might see wildebeest Zebras and Giraffes. but what is so special here is to see tree-climbing lions, the lions climb the trees to avoid the hotness of the area or when it is too wet.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Lake Natron

Today We Take You To Lake Natron, one of the places in Tanzania that have an awesome view and real African landscape. When arriving In this beautiful semi-desert area, around 3 pm after check-in at the hotel meet your local guide who will do all your activities at Engaresero village, you will start with a walk to Engaresero Waterfalls.

Engaresero waterfall is one of the best waterfalls in the northern circuit of Tanzania, which creates a natural swimming pool, so here possible to swim, don’t forget to bring your swimming wear, On the way enjoy the beautiful view of Oldonyo Lengai, this is a Masai word means “MOUNTAIN OF GOD”  the only active mountain in Tanzania.

Day 5: Lake Natron

Early in the morning before breakfast at 6 am with your local guide, walk to the Lake to see waterbirds, on the way enjoy the sunrise lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake in northern Tanzania, not far from Kenya.

Natron is a breeding ground for hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos, despite the highly alkaline state of the striking red waters.

If you like geographical features, this is the best place to stay for more than 2 days, because of the area’s beauty. today your guide will take you to the other side of Lake Natron to keep enjoying the landscape and more waterbirds on the lake, on the way stop at the hot waterspring for a short visit.

then back to the lodge for a hot lunch and siesta at the swimming pool, in the evening option to visit Masai village and Engaresero village.

Day 6: Lake Natron To Serengeti National Park

After breakfast drive to Central Serengeti National Park, after arriving perform an afternoon game drive in the park.

The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word means *Siringeti* which means endless plains due to the short grass plains that seem endless. Serengeti is one of the  World Heritage sites and a biosphere reserve one of the largest parks in Tanzania and one of the best National parks in Africa.

Serengeti is one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world with the greatest concentration of wild animals on the planet and home for the remaining wildebeest migration, which migrate from the south of Serengeti to the north Mara River searching for the green pastures.

Day 07: Serengeti National Park

Proceed to the central Serengeti for a full-day game drive in Serengeti

Day 8: Ngorongoro National Park

Heading to Ngorongoro for a safari game drive down the crater floor then late afternoon on your way to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro is a multiple land use area where the Maasai who are pastoralists share the same ecosystem with wild animals

the area is part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the north and northwest of the Ndutu region where between December and April is the best time to see the calving of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 9: Lake Eyasi

Depart to Lake Eyasi for a cultural tour experience, here you will get to visit the Hadzabe tribe (bushmen), to learn and experience their lifestyles and cultures where you will learn how they hunt, track wildlife, make fire, and even take honey from bee’s nests.

Hadzabe is the only remaining society that lives only through hunting and gathering around east Africa, living in caves and using click language is what makes

Hadzabe is unique from other ancient tribes there are also other tribes to visit apart from Hadzabe including Dattoga and blacksmiths

Day 10: Departure

Drive back to Arusha for a flight to Zanzibar or back home, possible to depart with lunch boxes or have a hot lunch in Arusha, depending on your flight ticket schedule, Marking the end of your 10 Days Mid-Range Safari
