Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Engage on a thrilling game drive across the Ngorongoro Crater floor before beginning your late-afternoon return journey to Arusha, marking the conclusion of your 2-Day Tanzania Group Joining Safari.

Ngorongoro is a unique multiple-use area where the Maasai pastoralists coexist with abundant wildlife. It forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, including the Ndutu region to the north and northwest, which is the prime location to witness the annual wildebeest and zebra calving between December and April.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken, non-flooded volcanic caldera. Its main attraction is the crater itself, created when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, leaving a breathtaking caldera teeming with wildlife.
