Tanzania Luxury Safari

6 Days South Africa Safari

Tour Highlights

Combine two of the most iconic tourist destinations in the world into one phenomenal safari package with our 6 Days South Africa Safari.

Game drives in the southern part of Kruger National Park offer a fantastic opportunity to explore the diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes of one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. As the largest game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park is home to an abundance of animal and bird species, including the famous Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo).

One of the “must see” experiences in Southern Africa is undoubtedly visiting the Victoria Falls. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and although it is neither the highest or widest waterfall in the world, it is considered the largest based on its width of over a mile and height of 350 feet. The vibrant tourist village of Victoria Falls offers load of activities including a variety of wildlife experiences, local arts and culture and numerous adrenaline activities.

Day by day Program

Day 1: Kruger National Park

On the first morning of your guided Kruger safari, you will catch a flight from Johannesburg to an airport inside the Kruger National Park. There, you will be met by your guide for a road transfer to your safari lodge in the Kruger National Park. Keep a lookout for wildlife en-route to the private safari lodge in the Kruger National Park where you will spend two nights.

After a refreshing welcome drink and some relaxation time, head out on a game drive in a private concession of the Kruger. Led by the local guides, spot prides of lion, or perhaps even the endangered white rhino. Watch the sunset with sundowner drinks at a scenic spot in the African bush. Return to a delicious meal served around the roaring fire in the boma. Fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the bush at night.

Day 2: Safari in Kruger National Park

In the morning head out on an early morning game drive. Watch as the African bush comes to life with the beginning of a new day, smell the fresh clean air of the morning. Return to a hearty breakfast at your safari lodge in the Kruger National Park.

The afternoon is spent at leisure where you can cool off in the swimming pool and take in the stunning views of the bush. Watch passing by wildlife as they come to the waterhole for a drink or simply relax with a good book. After some siesta time embark on an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five that might have eluded you so far.

Discover the diverse wildlife of the Park, including herds of impala, kudu and zebra. Your guide will help you spot and identify the many species of birds in the park such as the majestic tawny or martial eagles. Stop for sundowners before searching for nocturnal animals such as porcupine, civet and leopard on an evening game drive. Upon return enjoy another freshly prepared dinner under the African skies.

Day 3-4 : Safari in Sabi Sand

Your adventure continues as you leave the south of the Kruger National Park and head towards the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Enjoy a game drive en-route to your luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve where you will spend the next two nights. Your safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve enjoys a prime position on the banks of the Sand River, surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.

The reserve has a high concentration of wildlife and is home to the Big 5. The region is also famous for its big cat sightings and perhaps you will see cheetah or leopard. The area is not open to the public so you are guaranteed intimate and exclusive wildlife encounters away from the crowds.

Spend the next two days exploring this wildlife-rich area on guided 4×4 game drives and bush walks. Game drives are conducted in open 4×4 safari vehicles that are allowed to drive off-road and stay out even after dark. In the evenings, tuck into a freshly prepared meal under a canopy of stars in the boma area. Fall asleep in your luxurious suite to the sounds of the African bush.

Day 5: Trunk greetings

Embark on one last morning game drive in search of the wildlife that has eluded you so far. After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to take you on a scenic journey to White River. You will have some time to relax and freshen up before being picked up for an afternoon elephant interaction.

Touch their rough and wrinkly skin, exchange trunk greetings and offer up tasty treats. You will also get the opportunity to learn about the history of this sanctuary. Don’t forget to take a picture of you standing under the impressive six-ton elephant. This interaction will surely be an experience you will never forget.
