Day by day
Day 1: Arrival and Rest in Arusha
Your Tanzanian adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a friendly representative from Tanzania Private Safari will greet you with a warm “Karibu Tanzania!” and escort you in a comfortable private vehicle to your lodge.
Nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Meru, this tranquil retreat is the perfect place to relax and acclimate after your flight. Unwind by the pool, stroll through the gardens, and enjoy your first authentic Tanzanian dinner as you prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast, meet your experienced safari guide—an expert in Tanzania’s wildlife and ecosystems—who will accompany you throughout your journey. Enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, passing through rural landscapes that offer an authentic glimpse of local life.
Upon arrival, the park’s iconic baobab trees and abundant wildlife create a spectacular safari setting. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, as well as lions, leopards, and diverse bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. After a day of thrilling game drives, unwind at Baghayo Garden Suites, enjoying a delicious dinner and reflecting on the day’s sightings.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, journey to the breathtaking Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its scenic soda lake, often painted pink by thousands of flamingos. The park’s varied landscapes—from lush forests to open plains—create a rich and diverse safari experience.
Spot giraffes, zebras, hippos, and other wildlife, while keeping an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in acacia trees—a rare and unforgettable sight. After an exciting day of exploration, return to Marera Valley for a peaceful night.

Day 4–6: Serengeti National park
The next three days are spent exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park, a vast golden savannah renowned for one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles. En route, enjoy scenic views through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the Serengeti.
Daily morning and afternoon game drives offer chances to witness lions hunting, cheetahs sprinting, and herds of wildebeest and zebras in motion. Stay at Sound Of Silence, a classic tented camp blending comfort with immersion in the wild, where evenings are set to the soundtrack of crackling campfires and distant wildlife calls.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

This unique caldera is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros, offering an unforgettable game-viewing experience. Explore the crater floor amid stunning scenery, then ascend to the rim and continue to Marera Valley Lodge, where panoramic views and a peaceful highland setting await.

Day 8–9: Lake Manyara, Arusha, and Farewell
Your final full day in Tanzania is a chance to relax and enjoy the scenery. Spend a leisurely morning at Marera Valley Lodge before a scenic drive back to Arusha. Along the way, you can take part in optional cultural experiences, such as a coffee tour, visiting a local market, or exploring the vibrant town to meet locals and pick up souvenirs.
After breakfast on your departure day, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, ensuring a smooth and stress-free end to your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.
