This 4 days Tanzania mid-range safari is one of our most popular safari packages, designed for travelers who want an exciting wildlife experience with comfortable accommodations at an affordable price. The safari includes daily guided wildlife game drives for all four days, giving you the maximum opportunity to explore Tanzania’s incredible national parks and observe animals in their natural habitat.
Throughout the entire journey, you will enjoy professionally guided safaris led by experienced local guides who understand the landscapes and wildlife of Tanzania. Each day is dedicated to game viewing, allowing you to search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other species across some of the country’s most famous safari destinations, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park.
Day by day Program
Day 1 : Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After you’ve had breakfast, you’ll head to Serengeti National Park. Depending on the time of year, you might get a chance to see a bunch of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles on their big move. In October and November, during a little rainy season, they usually go from Kenya’s Masai Mara through the northwest part of Serengeti to the south plains. After the big rainy season in April, May, and June, they slowly make their way back through the west and northwest of Serengeti. But remember, the schedule can change with how much it rains.
Your guide will do their best to find these animals and make sure you see them from the best spot in the park. Of course, where there are herds, there are also predators, so if you’re lucky, you might witness a hunt

Day 2 - 3 : Serengeti National Park
After you have breakfast early at 6:30 a.m., you’ll go on a drive to see lots of animals until the afternoon. Then, you’ll head to a picnic spot for lunch and get everything packed up. As you leave Serengeti, you’ll have another fun drive, heading to Simba Campsite, which is about a 2-hour drive near the edge of Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4 : Ngorongoro Crater – back to Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge, you will descend early into the crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater.
The earlier you descend to the Crater floor, the better, so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like black rhinos with a little luck. Spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunchtime.
Ngorongoro Crater, with its 600- to 650-meter-high walls, is like a natural zoo with the highest concentration of wild animals, and it is here where you can even spot the Big Five even in one day if lucky enough.
After picnic lunch which you will most likely take at the hippo poolside designated picnic site, you will drive up the Crater rim and out of the Conservation area. You will return to Arusha where you will arrive later in the afternoon, marking the End of Our 4 Days Tanzania Mid-Range Safari
