Day by day

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay and late-night rest. Arusha, located at the base of Mount Meru along the Great Rift Valley, is a vibrant city with a temperate climate and serves as the gateway to northern Tanzania’s safari destinations, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha National Park, Olduvai Gorge, and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

In the morning, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Tarangire National Park. Many travelers bypass Tarangire or only visit briefly, making your extended exploration a rare opportunity to see its untouched landscapes. Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, fly from Kuro Airstrip to Serengeti National Park, then drive to central Serengeti for a full-day game drive. The Serengeti is home to Africa’s Big Five, including lions (over 3,000 in the ecosystem), elusive leopards, and elephants, along with abundant giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Return to Serengeti Four Season Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park ( migration viewing ) Central Seronera

After breakfast at the lodge, embark on a full-day game drive before heading to Serengeti Central (Seronera) in the late afternoon. Follow the western rim past the spectacular Oloirobi viewpoint, beginning through forested patches and opening onto vast grasslands. Marvel at breathtaking views down into the crater and across to Olduvai Gorge, the Serengeti plains, and the Gol Mountains. The walk is easy, with only gentle slopes, and typically lasts 1 to 2.5 hours—best enjoyed in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid midday heat.

In the afternoon, transfer to Manyara Airstrip for a flight back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport or onward to Zanzibar, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable 9-day Tanzania Fly-In Safari.
